summer dreaming

Although it is currently raining here in the Pacific Northwest and is supposed to all weekend, and although, truthfully, I am less enchanted with summer than most people I know - these postcards make me long to be on summer holiday, lying in the sun and listening to the sound of the canoe paddles in the water.

This other image is closer to home. Lake Odell, Oregon. This postcard also has no message on the back. It looks lovely.

    I've been to lake Odell--it is really beautiful! These postcards are wonderful. You are right, there is rain here in the Pacific Northwest--lots and lots of it.

    I like spring and fall better than summer--it can get really hot--but at least here the heat only lasts a few weeks, or days at a time. (phew)

    I would happily sit on the deck of Torre Del Lago with a glass of wine and watch the canoe paddlers go by...Happy PFF!
